ABOUT RMIC
RMIC team was established in USM to enhance the analysis, design and development of analog/RF Integrated Circuits. The ultimate goal of the research is to design and improve System on Chip (SoC) and Software Define Radio (SDR) to be utilized in wireless applications.
The current focus is in the front-end and back-end for the single chip implementation that includes and not limited to the design and characterization of low cost silicon based micro-circuits.
Our current research interest includes the development of the analog front-end confirming to standards such as WCDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access), WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) and UWB (Ultra Wideband). Besides collaborating with other research groups, we also propose a comprehensive collaboration between the academic engineering programs and industries with the goal to be the best research group in the region.
